54 years ago, on July 21, 1969 at 3:15 UTC, the first humans landed on the moon as part of the historic Apollo 11 mission. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first two people to step onto the moon surface. Their achievement was a triumph of human ingenuity, determination, and courage, and it inspired many generations to dream big and explore the unknown.

I'm honored to showcase this moment in a 3D render, where Buzz Aldrin is seen climbing down the ML-5. As an artist, I was only responsible for setting up the scene in Blender, which includes reorganizing assets, shading as well as compositing. I also added an artistic touch by including the earth in the background despite its not realistically possible at that moment.
